Le P’tit Jorat, a special Swiss local product made with Swiss cheese Gruyère AOP

Ingredients: Gruyère AOP, fine flour Type 400, whole floor eggs, white wine, white bread, mustard, garlic, nutmeg, spices   Origins of ingredients : Jorat area, Switzerland (except spices)

Preparation:
preferably deep frying 7-8 minutes at 180 ° C.
Bake in preheated oven at 210 ° C, 9-10 minutes

Le P'tit Jorat is a delicious cheese beignet made primarily with local products from the
Jorat region in Switzerland.
An original recipe dating back to the 1950s, elaborated for the first time in the old and
famous restaurant "Le Grappe d'Or " in Lausanne , a former member of the
Chaine des Rotisseurs, Traditions & Qualities, Relais & Châteaux and noted in the
famous restaurant guides Gault Millau and Michelin as one of the best restaurants in
Switzerland until late 1990.
At that time, the famous restaurant proposed Le P'tit Jorat and a soufflé Jorat.

Serving tips:
Delicious and typical Swiss cheese product for starters and daily menus. The
P’tit Jorat can be served with a nice green or mixed salad or pickled vegetables.
